Article Marketing still remains the simplest yet most powerful method of making money online today. I refuse to use the word easy here; because there is no easy way to make money online. This method still requires a lot of effort and time investment to make any serious money, just like any other way of making money. It is the simplest method however for two reasons; anybody can do it and it does actually work!
Through the use of Article Marketing you are able to promote a product or service, direct traffic to your blog, build quality backlinks to your website and much more. Athough the best methods for making money online have varied over the years, article marketing has remained consistant throughout. It is important that you know how to create a great article and get the most out of your article marketing.
You don’t have to be the greatest writer on the planet to write an article, and as mentioned previously anybody can write a successful article. It is essential however that you know what you know what you are doing. You can’t get away with submitting any old content and assume that you’ve done enough to generate traffic. The reader needs to find it enjoyable enough to act upon, this is your aim when writing your article. In order to assist you with getting the best out of your article writing I have listed 4 guidelines that will help you:
Research & Planning
Planning an article sounds like a lot of extra effort to go through for writing something as simple as an article, but you should get into the habit of preparing for everything you do, no matter how small the task. If you are writing an article on a topic you don’t know much about, ensure that you carry out a little research before you get your head down and start writing. If you don’t know what you are talking about, then you can bet your life on the fact that the reader won’t have a clue!
Once you have a clear mindset about what you are going to be talking about, you will need to know how you are going to present your information. Consider the angle you are taking with your approach, maybe jot down a few points that you wish to get across. You should aim to spark up enough ideas so that you are not stopping to think about what you should be writing at any point.
Don’t over complicate things however! Although I’ve tried to stress how important preparation is, too much of it can disrupt your flow. An article needs to appear natural; you will find that when writing an article the first things that come to your head are generally the best. The ideas behind the article need to prepared, but when it comes to the bulk of the content, just go with it!
Stay tuned for part 2 in where I talk about my other great tips towards successful article marketing.
